Opus domini review ipad5/7/2023 The other tabs are for you to articulate your personal missions in life, the roles you fill, the goals you have, and the steps to achieve those goals. The dayplanner is only 20% of the interface. Beyond the technical merit, Opus One is about improving the quality of life, not just organization and efficiency. It is phenomal that the program ("app" doesn't do it justice) is seemlessly crossplatform and scales beautifully between desktop, tablet, and phone. Opus One is the embodiment of an old-school paper dayplanner with the benefit of calendar synchronization and cloud backup. The only think they could add that would set my world on fire is the ability to use my Microsoft Pencil in the notes view on the iPad, but even there they thought things through with an icon for a date time stamp. I like the Eisenhower Matric and the Weekly Planner for that productivity overview I sometimes need. Although it is very easy to use, I have opened the manual (access from the Windows version) and got familiar with some of the deep functionality. Unlike a lot of apps, this one has a full user manual. As one other reviewer mentioned, I initially had a glitch getting them all to sync, but the support team worked it out and set good information on what needed to be done and where. Syncs well with iPhone, iPad, MacMini and MaxAir. It lets me use the hybrid David Allen, Franklin Covey system I use, just like I would on paper. It always seemed that something was missing in each of them-not so with Opus One. I think I have only written one other review, but I am using this app so much that I thought I would give the team there a “shout out.” I have purchased and/or used about a dozen calendar and to-do apps over the past few years. With Windows's Big Sur, I just found out that Opus One will work. Don't get me wrong, you have to work with it, but once you get the hang of it. I can choose what is important, check it off, and build good habits. I can easily see what my day consists of. Opus One is now my #1 app, and Things 3 is my #2 (if I use it at all). But this time, I really looked at the features and started using them. It has everything to help your dreams come true.īecause of the videos, which are ok but felt like I was in a chemistry class. And these bell and whistle are ask it to do for you. There are so many bells and whistle to keep you on track. Opus One works hand in hand with your daily acivities, goals, and where you are in life. I don't understand why the 'Productivity Gurus' have not reviewed it. Thank you for this app! I hope you continue to add features and keep it updated!īy far, the best get-it-done app period! This app is so good, really really good. But even the basic functions are so useful it gives me hope for my crazy busy world in which I own several small companies and need ONE place to keep all things organized. I don't use all the priortiy ordering and other features yet-maybe someday. Totally worth the annual subscription fee. I mostly use the desktop version on my big Windows and keep it open in the corner so I have a blank page each day to record notes about what I am working on, phone numbers, lists of things, etc. It syncs between computers as well as to the iPhone, so all info is up to date. This is visually EXACTLY the same as a paper planner with so many more wonderful features-such as the ability to search through the entire book (all dates) for one name or one phrase to find a note that you left yourself months ago on a particular topic. I have always loved the idea of staying organized with a paper planner, but didn't like having to remember to bring one more thing with me when I leave the house, and frankly, a paper planner can get lost-where it doesn't help you at all.
